The Landbased Industries Support Service (LISS) builds on the college’s reputation for excellence and quality by offering a support service for employers and organisations working in the landbased sectors. Using the expertise of our own specialists, linked to a support network of industry organisations and partners, LISS is designed to help you benefit from information, advice and training so that your business can grow and perform to its full potential. We can work with you to develop your staff and improve your competitiveness, helping to raise the bottom line of your business.

LISS helps businesses and organisations working in the landbased industries, from one-man bands and family-run concerns to larger enterprises. As well as supporting the needs of established businesses, LISS is keen to help those who wish to start up a new venture or diversify their current activities. To help achieve these aims LISS exploits the excellent resources of Oatridge College, including a 9-hole golf course, international-standard equestrian facilities, all-weather gallops, purpose-built conferencing and training facilities, working farm, horticulture and landscaping facilities, and fully-equipped engineering and farriery workshops.
